Clean Air Sri Lanka (CASL) is a non-profit organization registered in Sri Lanka. Our primary goal is to tackle national and global environmental challenges, including air pollution, climate change, and sustainable energy. CASL has implemented numerous projects across the island to enhance Sri Lanka’s air quality.
There are several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that are particularly relevant to our work including:
SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being – The impact of air pollution on human health is well documented, and improving air quality can have significant benefits for public health.
SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy – Reducing reliance on fossil fuels and promoting clean energy alternatives is an important part of addressing air pollution.
SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities – Urban areas are often the most affected by air pollution, and promoting sustainable urban planning and transportation can help reduce pollution levels.
SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals – Collaboration between NGOs, governments, and other stakeholders is essential for effectively addressing air pollution and achieving sustainable development goals.
